Guess I'll Just Have to Wait And See !!!

I thought my love for you was undying,
I thought it was like a solid rock with no cracks on it,
I thought it was impenetrable,
I thought it was stronger than chains, still lighter than flowers,
I thought nothing could keep your thoughts away from me,
I thought nothing could keep your face hidden from my eyes,
In fact I didn’t think, I knew so.
I knew this at the time, now I’m not so sure anymore.
Now, I think I’m drifting away,
Drifting away from you, towards someone else.
Someone innocent looking, like the purest thing,
Someone who is good enough to replace even you,
But I don’t want this to happen,
I wish to remain yours,
If you don’t make a move soon, you might not have me anymore.
I know I have a better chance with her than you, but still I choose to remain yours,
But I think I’m drifting away from you, towards her.
Her face doesn’t have the attraction yours does, instead it has the most innocent look,
Her eyes may not be as deep as yours, but instead that hold modesty in themselves,
Her lips are not like the delicate of all roses, but the words which come out
through them penetrate deep into your soul,
Her smile may not be as attractive and lovable as yours but it has the
appreciation which each person needs every now and then,
Her body may not be perfect like yours, but I can’t seem to find anything wrong with it either,
She may not be as outgoing and sociable as you, but instead she has the
shyness which is a girl’s important quality,
She may not be as demonstrative as you, but sincerity is what matters more,
Oh I don’t know what’s happening to me,
Maybe I really do like her.
Yeah I think I do...I do like her.
Now the question is will she be able to transfer my love for you towards herself?
Guess I’ll just have to be patient, wait and find out
